Cabin refinish
My cabin is basically unfinished. I can take all the cushions out and there is really nothing else in there.
I want to refinish it to make it look a little nicer. Also, I want a smooth surface that I can wipe down when needed. It was covered with gelcoat from the factory. Whatever I apply it will be with a brush and/or roller.
Should I use gelcoat again? I was thinking about using bildgecoat paint. What does the experts suggest?

well its part way there if you really want a nice smooth shiny surface you will need to take a few free weekends and sand that down with 180 to true it a bit then you can roll on a white gell with Duratech high gloss additive. I'm a big fan of gel on high wear surfaces but theres a lot of tedious labor involved.

Thanks Dave. I'm not sure if I want to go through all that sanding. I mainly want to clean it up a bit. It looks like it was just given a quick thin coat at the factory. The cushions cover up the majority of the area.
BTW, where is a good place to buy the supplies you mentioned?

For anything to stick and remotely look good it will need to be sanded. Anything that is just a brush on stand alone product will mostly just compound the problem. If it is gel in there now, theres no gettin around sanding.
