Out of curiosity, what did you start sanding with? I had a Formula that looked like yours, and I started with 400, worked up to 1000 and then buffed with 3m super duty. Turned out great.

I'm not sure if your read this thread or not but Dave breaks down how he does it with FOY really clearly. If that doesn't work then I would say you are SOL

That might be my problem, I'm probably not building up enough heat. Don't want to, or know if I can burn gel like paint. I might give it another shot with Presta and build some heat.

I’ll ad the 3M 06044 has done a fantastic job on mine. Took it from 600 grit wetsand to mirror polish. Use only 3M wool pads an a DA style machine. Put it on wet and gently decrease pressure until it’s gone. Then I throw a coat of wax on. Best product I’ve used.

If you started with 600 and did not spend enough time with 800, 1000, 1200, 1500 before that 2000, you may have scratches that are keeping it hazy.

I believe I spent enough time with the each grit. I was only working a small area a square foot or so. I spent hours on just one area. Also with all kinds of products not only sanding.
