Got the tank out!! It was completely foamed in, and that foam underneath and partly up the sides was completely soaked. There’s another contractor bag full of it. I bet it all weighed 200 pounds.

I couldn’t find a long sawzall blade to use to cut through all the foam, so I considered welding a couple together to make a really long one.
But just for fun, I made my own!! LOL!! It’s stainless, but not hardened, so it eventually buckled, but I pounded it flat again and kept going. Eventually I used two of these to get the foam sufficiently cut out to get the tank loose.

Just out of curiosity, and for peace of mind.
She’s within 1/8” over 14 feet.
Id rather find out now and be able to fix it now…
I was assuming it was good. The trailer holding her up was made for the boat, and I’ve got blocking and stands augmenting the trailers support.

Seven more hours of grinding…
It sure doesn’t seem like that much is getting done, but I’m covered in grinding dust, emptied my cyclone dust collector (again) and replaced another damn vacuum filter!
lol

lol! Thanks! I’m going through my respirator pre-filters like they’re going out of style. They’re also cheaper than new lungs!
Bosch has a great vacuum attachment for their angle grinder. It’s definitely not perfect, but it’s certainly better than nothing! It works good on the big flat surfaces, but not so much in the more detailed stuff.
