I’d imagine this should be ok, but there’s a lot more experts here than there are at my house, lol!
My plan is to make the fuel tank area smaller by moving the bulkhead rearward about 16 inches. I’ve got a fuel tank from an old parts boat that’s a bit smaller.
That should allow me to make a flat floor as indicated just ahead of the new fuel tank and open up the bulkhead into the cabin. I want to put a little “emergency” head in there.

Should be fine, Yes?
Anything I should keep in mind?
