I am purchasing a 400ss and I am in need of a trailer. If anyone knows of a trailer either for sale or would suggest a good builder for a new one, please email me at [email protected]. I am leaning towards a Mayco but any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!

There's an 18 wheeler down the road for sale.
Holy crap,,,,,,,,,,,,,, what the heck are you gonna pull that with. You'll need a friggin' Frieghtliner!! Plus, a trailer for that boat will set you back at least 20 grand. Not to mention that every state in the union will require a permit for that beast.
We need to back away from the bong and just have it hauled out by the marina.

ps: It's Myco; not Mayco.

16,100#/17,900# dry for gas/diesel. 11' beam. 5th wheel trailer to handle that would have to weigh 5,000#+, I would guess. I'm with third on this one.
Myco does make a good trailer if you go that route.

I have seen a trailer this size under a big cruiser at a local marina here in Toledo. 4-axle made by loadmaster out of Port Clinton, Ohio. I think this would be more for short transport and winter storage purposes. It would take a pretty heavy duty rig to haul this much, but a 40 SS sitting in your own back yard for the winter would be SWEET!

We recently bought a new tri-axle Hi-Tech Aluminum trailer to haul a 400,just delivered it to the Gulf coast with a diesel dually. Big load, but it made it fine. The trailer is currently on the way south with a 370SS behind a gas dually. Would not want to do this everyday, but it is doable. I would probrably sell the trailer,we have 2 of them, really only need one. Robert

I am about 99% sure Manning Trailers in Michigan here made a trailer for a 400ss for a guy on the west side of MI. Try Marc at 616-846-1569 Good luck, Wrink

As for the vehicle a Ford 450 or a 550 diesel crew cab dually will have no problem with the load. Also the new Chevy's with the Duramac Diesels and the Allison Transmission will tow it quite easy.
Has anyone had any issues with a Mayco Trailer. I have seen quite a few 43' & 46' Black Thunders with them under them.
