I'm tired of laying white towels on the rear seat base to step on. A couple of years ago,all Fastechs had an elastic edged white terrycloth fitted cover for the forward cabin cushion. Wouldn't that be a nice idea for the rear seat base? I think all Fastech rear seats are the same size, has anyone thought of this,or does anyone offer this?

I made up a mat out of blue and one out of black sunbrella to keep the grease monkeys from putting thier greezy clodhoppers on my white vinyl. It helped with that problem but created another one--
Had the blue on on the seat and kneeled on it to check the oil after it had been in the sun for a while--DAMN was it hot !!!
Couldn't beleive how hot that stuff got. Some of it is color and some of it is fabric texutre/weave. I'm going to try grey and see if that is tolerable.
Also gonna try and find a source for the plush towel terry cloth for similar sort of pad cover to go over sun pad and seat.

I have a couple of friends who have had sunbrella covers made for their sunpads. They snap onto the existing cockpit cover snaps and tuck under the engine hatch. They got them to reduce wear on the vinyl and keep crumbs and spills out of it (both have small kids).
I personally use a rubber backed bathroom rug that spans the back seat.

I couldn't agree more - if you come up with anything count me in for one or two. Right not I use a new mechanics blanket folded over the seat when it is in the "open" position. After I close the seat it stays in place. Works well but looks like hell on such a nice boat.
