Default Sink fresh water storage

Now that someone brought up the potti question, I am curious where the fresh water storage is for my sink? I followed one tube it goes up past the potti not sure where it ends. I haven't found a fill valve or anything else. my boat is an 84 272. anyone have any ideas?

Perhaps yours is the same as my 242SS.

Under the cushion in the V berth is a hatch with. . . . . . . . .

a storage compartment that contains . . . . . . .

no water tank!!! Just a hose pipe and threaded connector!!!

A previous owner must have become very attached to the water tank!

R-Don hahahaha!
Thats exactly what I have. An empty compartment in the v berth with a hose that ends there! I guess someone else wanted it bad.

My 357 SR1 has the tank--holds 40 gallaons and we use it only for wash downs and to prime the A/C pump. It sits too long to even think about using the water for drinking. I keep plenty of bottled water in reefer and cooler. Much less hassle.

My 272 HAS the plastic jug held down with a Velcro strap but forget drinking like Poorsche said. In order to keep mine somewhat clean and desease free I add a splash of bleach to the water
Before I did that , by the end of the season the inside of the jug was slimey
