Do that same paint job in some different colors, maybe even some of the trick new effects (shadowing, blends, textures) but keep the same lines - I think that would look incredible.
I understand that Formula is a very well built production boat, and probably not interested into getting into the wild paint. That's why I'd go all white for a season to figure out what I wanted on the boat.

Your boat looks damn clean - nice ride.

Welcome to the Formula crowd. That's a great looking boat! I have a 2001 292 with 350 MPIs and I love. It'll run in the low 70s with a light load. I wish I had that Latham steering on mine. I just put out $800 to get the "cable" steering replaced in mine because the cable had stretched and caused the spool to wear. That resulted in a lot of play in the steering. Unfortunately the Formula Guard extended warranty didn't cover "wear." Only breakage. Anyway, I love the boat and I think you will too.

Imho, nothing dates a boat faster than today's "hottest" paint fads. Look at the Donzi Classics, they have never changed the paint design on them, and they still draw many envious looks.

Thanks. I look forward to next season after engine break-in to see what performance we can get out of her.
