Check out www.TigerDirect.com -- theyve got a lot of mounting systems for flat panesl--and some great prices an monitors, TV's, and combo Monito/TV units. I put a 19" combo Monitor/TV in my 1986 357 SR1 that even has built in speakers and a wireless remote,

Thanks for the info Poorsche and C Spray. The tv is on its way, I bought a 13" Sharp Aquios, the same one Formula uses. Now I just have to do some mods to the cabinet and make a mounting system for it.
Skramer, I could mount that 51 incher to the engine hatch and we could have a drive in at the beach. Jeff

Don't forget to wire in the DVD player while your buidling the compartment. Formula has a small one mounted behind the TV.

I am thinking of replacing the original kenwood stereo with a sony that also plays dvd's, mp3's, and cd-r's. I could connect this to the tv and use the cabin amp and speakers for the tv. The sony I am interested in is the mex-r5 and iI was told it is compatible with the rm-xm10 wired marine remote. The only concern I have is that the sony has 2 volt pre-amp outputs and the kenwood has 4 volt. Will dropping down to 2 volt cause a problem ?

Don't have an answer for that but it sounds like a great idea. One other thing to consider...I have the Sirius radio on mine, and I can't do anything but change channels from the helm. I wish it was set up with the remote Sirius at the helm so I can see the channels. Right now the only place to see it is at the radio below.

If I may but in...I would use a separate DVD player. Find a deck that will allow an external input for the audio from the DVD. The reason being, the quality will drop in the audio decks that have DVD players. The voltage drop on the outputs will affect the signal to the external 4 channel amp if you have one. Check out Pioneer they have many high end decks that have audio inputs. They have a new marine remote CD-MR80D. I bought one for next seasons audio upgrade and it's a real nice piece. Let me know what you might need, I have a friend who owns a stereo shop and has helped me a ton.
