Yesterday I took my 242ls out and after running it for a little while I noticed a little steam coming out of the exhaust after I docked. Anyone know what would cause this?

With or without Silent Thunder??
Either way, the water sitting in the pipes or Silent Thunder chambers is real hot. Some steam will be seen as it mixes with water till it cools down.
If it's a whole lot of steam, like big clouds of it, then something is definitely wrong.

I honestly do not know if it has the silent thunder. I am a new formula owner. It has the exhaust going through the swim platform.
Thanks for your help guys.

Exhaust outlets are square???
If so then you have the Silent Thunder.
You may also see a little black tag near one of the outlets that says "Silent Thunder Patent Applied For" or something to that effect.

Hey 86formula242ls, I noticed the same thing while I was watching the marina boys flush out my engines. Didn't seem to much to worry about, the boat ran awesome that day and the gauges read perfect!
