I guess due to stereotypes [ie. not a merc] I've seen several of these duoprop 271s go pretty reasonably priced. Seems like they would make a great light-cruiser.

Chuck, I like the look of that 271, looks clean. What is the performance diffrence with the duo-prop? I know it will plane pretty easy a little less on top end?

I'm curious about top end and cruising speeds myself.
Portsmouth is only 4 hours away and the payment would only be $100 more a month. Tempting! Bet this deal will go quick.

Might just equal out pretty close. You'd have to think the duo-prop would cut some top end but it does say 420hp, so it's basically a mag HO. Couldn't be the fastest 271 but might make a great family cruiser.
