post 19 ... no Circulator pump .....only uses the raw water pump ...Some say it adds HP ... very little if any ... Some say it causes hot spots in the motor ... its an never ending debate ...mostly cleans up the front of the motor... I think some blower motors need the room .... look just below the thermostat housing at the front of the intake manifold ... Stainless pipe that ties both sides of the block ( water jackets) .....m

Some people claim to have to much water pressure with cross overs too. I have them on my 302, and have never had a problem with them.

Unfortunately, I'm no closer to bringing a Formula home. Biggest issue right now is starboard motor not wanting to run more than 4k RPM at WOT, and only showing 25-30psi oil at those RPMs. It's the original with over 700hrs so not surprising, just disappointing. The port motor with less than 10hrs had more in it over 4k RPM but I didn't want to get too far out of sync; and that motor was reading more than 80psi oil! Sheesh... The props are Stilleto M1421 which I assume are 14" 21P? Are these right for the boat? GPS indicated 45+mph at 3900RPM; how's that sound?
The other thing I need to learn about is the intake manifold/carb setup.

Thanks Car Biz for sharing your setup. I always thought 350s liked at least 10psi/1000rpm. I agree that I think 21s are probably the right prop. I have no idea if the timing is correct or if perhaps the throttle cable needs adjustment.
