Dukenrock,
I just purchased a 05 382 Fastech with the paint scheme as yours.... I have twin 575sci's, how fast do you think it will run?
Anything that i should be aware of with this boat?

I haven't broken 80MPH with mine yet (525's). With extension boxes and right conditions conservatively 80-81? (On a good day)
As far as the rest of the boat, it drives and handles great. I haven't done any prop changes or modifications, everything's just like it came from the factory. I did install drive showers. I had an issue with the bellows on both drives, but Merc covered the repairs. (Happened while in Havasu, ruined a couple of good days) I also had a cam sensor get eaten up for some reason, but again it was covered. Boat still ran but an alarm kept going off until I got it back into shore. I relocated my drive reservoirs from the transom to the front of the engines. It was a royal PITA to get to them. May want to call Robert Nelems and order a piece that fits onto the fuel breather line on the Starboard side of the boat. Mine was stored in a non AC warehouse at the time and it got a little warm. Fuel spilled out and stained the gelcoat. Got almost all of it off. The device prevents the fuel from seaping out. Easy to install, just splice in-line. If you haven't had a Formula before I know you'll love it. It's a heavy boat but handles great. Great color choice!!!!
