Got the K-Planes on my 292...
280S K-Planes just installed! Haven't been out yet, but I am anxious to get some seat time. Have 60 hours behind the wheel of our '06 292 using the stock Bennett tabs (anyone want to buy a set!). Really think the K-Planes will be much nicer in the rough and allow a slower plane cruise for tubing and such. Plus, it is just the first step to my 5-year plan of building the fastest 292 on the planet, but that's another story...

Thanks guys! I will be sure to post my observations after having a chance to run with them a while.
Next step?...Here's the plan. Next winter upgrade exhaust to full tube headers (CMI or Stellings), change to 1.6 roller rocker arms and have the ECM tweaked. I know headers are overkill on these mild 6.2's, but I am planning ahead...
Enjoy the above mods then the following winter install 12" set back boxes.
A couple more seasons then as the budget (and wife) allows, pluck out those 6.2's and drop in purpose built high performance small blocks. Big cubic inch, Whipple screw, intercooled, EFI, etc... Somewhere around 600 HP at the prop.
