Hey Guys:
Any helpful hints when having sunpad redone? What questions to ask shop? Someone told me to ask for gortex thread. Anyone living in Buffalo, NY area that could recommend someone?

If I was doing it I would contact Mcleod ... they can furnish the same covers ... you could get a local shop to recover the backing ... it might need replacing though ...m

In the process of doing mine. Not hard at all. Got new skins directly from formula. Everything is working out great so far. Made some new decks and got foam of the web and ordered vinyl already re sewn. Just have to staple back onto the plywood. Hopes that helps. Mark

Thanks Sam. I think I looked at yours last year but decided to go to 272 so the family has a little more room. I will be listing the boat to sell very soon. Life is too busy to enjoy it right now. Color combo: mostly black with red and gray. It was Brian's boat.

Just dropped off my engine hatch and rear bench seat cushions for redo. EXT2GTX (friends) had some Pachanga cushions done by this upholsterer, came out very nice. So, my 311 will have a face lift too. Bought the vinyl direct from McLoed, vintage 1989 white. Hoping it comes out nice.
