Looked over the 240 BR in the showroom @ the Formula plant on a tour this this summer. These are nice boats! Super quality and great space/layout.

We just bought a new 260 BR from MagicFloat (Nelems Marine) this year. It is a 2006 with the 496 Mag and a Bravo III. We stepped down (no pun intended) from a 40' Hustler.

The boat just broke 20 hours of perfect service (knock wood), so I have not pushed to boat too hard. Last weekend we hit just over 50 with full fuel (92 gallons), water, gear, and 12 total people! (non-GPS). Most reports say the boat runs 52-54 mph with this package, which I think is very do-able. Boat handles great from all aspects.

I really love the boat and how it handles. Even with 12 people on board, the boat has plenty of power to go tubing with a quad tube, and everyone has a great seat (with room to spare). Formula builds a solid boat!

Call Robert (MagicFloat) if you need more info. He is a great dealer and will find a nice used boat for you!

Happy to answer any other questions!
