Default Considering buying this 242 SS 1988

HI

I am going to inspect this boat next week, any tip what to check carefully? Does old Formula Boats (Spec.242 SS)
any weak "spots,points" ?

Had one of these. Make sure its got a bravo drive and not an alpha! What a headache! Only did that for 2 years.

Monaco I cannot see the 242 you are talking about, where is it, there are a few descent looking ss's out there right now, I can think of 3 or 4 that Ive seen while looking for a 242ls, maybe I can help

ah ok that makes sense, there are a bunch of SS's for sale here, pretty sound boat as long as it was taken care of, just check the bulk head in front of motor, if u want send pics to [email protected] and i can help evaluate

Hi

I inspected the boat yesterday, as far as I can judge it was
in a very good condition consider the age and price.
Bottom need repaint and inside the cuddy the fabric from
the roof was loose in a cuople of places, else i did not find
any thing.
I will decide during the weekend I will own my first Formula

Check those stringers too, older Formulas also had issues there, actually any older boat does.
