Default 2002 292 Fastech Owners Manual

I recenlty picked up a used 2002 292 Fastech. However the previous owner and dealer do not have the Formula Owners Manual/Binder. I would like to get to know as much about the boat as possible, good winter reading. Anyone know how I can get my hands on one?

I would think your best bet would be to call Formula. Maybe they would have one in their inventory.

It is available thru any Formula dealer. Consists of the canvas bag,the big binder with all the vendors instructions, plus the new systems manual that was not available until recently. A very extensive collection of stuff. Not particularly cheap, but it is very nice. Your local dealer can get it for you,or if you don't have a local dealer I can get it for you. Robert

The best thing about OSO Formula owners section. It really was gloomy without you here Robert.

Thanks Robert.

I'll definately let you know what I decide to do. With Christmas right around the corner, I will have to see how my expenses go. I'm still trying to recover from the purchase as well. Actually, the purchase wasn't that bad at all. I think I got a pretty good deal, I believe, I should also say thank you. I took your advice, as well as other members, from your one post a while back about 350's vs. 6.2's in the 292 into deep consideration during my purchase. I looked at several 292's with 6.2's all over 100 hours and not in that great of shape. I ended up with a beautifully, well taken care of 292 with less then 60 hours on both motors, and was able to use the 350's as a bargaining tool to get the price down to where I wanted it. Can't wait till spring. Thanks Robert and fellow OSO members.

Hey Tim,

Yup, I finally pulled the trigger. I got a pretty nice deal I believe, boat was well taken care of. It's still a used boat, so it's not perfect, but on a scale of 1-10, 10 being straight out of the factory, I'd give it 8 or 9 even. So...I can't afford to upgrade now, but I have a few pics posted up on speedwake.

I have a PDF file of the general Fastech manual and I can email it to you if you don't have it. You can also get it for free from Formula.
Let me know and I will happy to email it.
