Most 4 cycle I/Os test reports I've read usually list near 3000 as best economy. That's why I cruise there and get 1.3 mph

Mark, How have you been? It's been awhile...as for mileage, I'm still trying to figure that one out...LOL. I rebuilt the carbs mid last season with no improvement. I do get the best mileage at 3200 RPM with the prop setup I'm running. I think we are running the same props if my memory is correct. I'm lucky to get a mile per gallon. Stay safe.....

By the way, I get 71 on GPS when the temp is just right and the water surface is smooth (GOOD Day) as well as having a lite fuel load.

I figure if I could to afford one of those, mileage would be the least of my worries...lol

I usually run around 3200 and that seems to be best. Will crank up some if on a longer trip. Everthing has been well and ready to get theold bird out of storage. I was just curious as to the millage to to twins of the 38s and 35s. I never thought that there would be huge difference. Just hope gas stays under $4 this summer. Nobody likes throw money away. This winter in MI just doesn,t want to let go.

This 419 is super nice, I detailed it a year and half ago and I don't believe it has been used since. There getting a lot of action and it will sell soon, somebody will be getting a great boat.
