Put my 260SS on OSO classifieds today
I finally bit the bullet - put the 260SS on OSO today to see what happens. Might not be the best place/time to post it, but I felt that I should support our OSO group as a matter of principal. Besides - nothing ventured; nothing gained. The boat is very clean and should stand out from the average used boat.
Who knows - maybe one of you knows someone in the market for a great family oriented day boat with some element of sportiness about it.
Besides - when I do sell it - I will be looking for another Formula - most likely a 292 or 312 - and will have a new project to post about here.

No ... just not running it as much. Will be working out in Las Vegas for awhile. Considered the cost of bringing the 382 out here:
$1,100 in fuel each way
$800 per tank of fuel
3 days off to transport each way
storage for the boat
storage for the duallie
higher insurance
wear and tear of transporting 2000 mi
Was pretty hard to justify the expense vs. having a second smaller, more economical boat. I have been considering doing this for awhile now anyway.
The 260 SS will consume 1/3 less fuel, 1/3 less insurance, 1/2 maintenance, easier to trailer, easier to store, etc.
This size boat is much more suited to the type of boating out here .. Lake Havasu, Lake Mead, Lake Powell. Small enough to ski, tube, and wakeboard behind, but still bigh enough to overnight on.
It will still accomodate just as many bikinis too, I suspect ...

Blizzard - Mine is the '01 as RedDog noted. Feel free to PM, email or call. My info is in the classified ad. Keep an eye on the ad as I will probably tweak the price a little more once I have numbers pulled together later today.
