Personally I think this is a perfect upgrade. Looking around the entire Fastech cockpit the only 'cheap' looking thing are those darn plastic step/cup holders...
Dave, you should receive my check tomorrow!

FRMULTR...Got it and I have responded! SIX ordered!
Dave, Got your PM!
4mulafastech, I git your PM, and to address your concerns:
The machinc shop know that these are going to be polished, so care will be taken not to cause any major scratches or machine marks. The rubber pads will come NOT installed, due to the fact some will be coating these. And finally, I will be sure to pack these with care before I ship them!
Thanks all, I'll keep you up to date. It's not too late to get in on the first order!

Someone needs to get ahold of Bill, (Shameless). I'd be willing to bet he'd want some. I think some of his buddies hang out on SW, I'll give notice over there.

Things are looking pretty good for a first run.
A few notes: After further thought on my 353...
I am going to cut the handle trim plate today and see how it looks. I think with the thickness of the new step, it needs to be flush with the gunwhale panel. If that doesn't work, it was a cheap way to find out (price of the trim plate). I think it will look fine and mate nice to the new step plate. If not, I might design a new trim piece with a different cut on the top and bottom. I would have to see how much it would cost to tool one up.
I also think the plates will have to be coated with something, still considering red for the step plate and polished for the handle.
A few people were wondering how anyone was making out with the coating options? Anybody have anything yet?
Thanks, and I will respond to all of the PM's once your check arrive!
