Default 223ls swim deck

Any one know how difficult it is to remove the swim deck on a 88 223,I want to paint it. Not sure if I should attempt it or not?

It's not very difficult. It's a couple of bolts and breaking the adhesive Formula uses. I think that's the hardest part, breaking the adhesive loose. There is a good post on "Silent Thunder Exhaust" on the board now that may answer some questions. I'm curious, I notice that my gelcoat on my 223LS (1989) has no fade anywhere except on the platform. It's starting to fade. I plan on Buffing it (short term fix), but has anyone else brought the color back short of having it painted (mines black and teal)...etc...?
