Preventing Pooper Pump-Out Problems!
For those of you who have Fastechs with pump-out heads, and the fitting is in the very front corner of the swim platform: You can buy a "Noz-All" adapter for use in those marinas that use the cam-and-groove style couplers on the end of their pumpout hoses, but many marinas are switching to a new style nozzle with a tapered end. Unfortunately, these stlye hoses have a large flange near the end which prevents them from getting far enough into the corner to get a good seal, and, well.... eecchhhh.
If you have one of the Noz-All fittings, there is a company that makes a 90-degree plastic clamp-on fitting that solves the problem. It's only $15.90, and they will take credit card orders online. Got to http://www.alscoind.com/orderframe2.htm and type in the part number "3955-PP" into the search box, and you'll see what I mean. Should end the mess.
For those of you that have been through the process - you can thank me later.
