I'm a sucker for my 2 bolsters with bench and sun pad. If I'm out on the boat and its not in transit I'm in the water, major water rat. Lol. Plus I don't worry about being able to carry too many people as it just hurts fuel an speed. Haha. I like no more than 6. I'm all about rafting up and beaches but I get out of the boat and in the water.

Seems pretty light.

Brian...think...NET WEIGHT...no engines or drives!!! Boat only!! Heavy MO FO!!

I do not for a moment believe that a Cig 28SS has an 18" draft with 2X BBC's and TRS drives!?!? My old 24ft baja with an Alpha drafted around 2ft, and my Formula 233LS with an OMC Stringer drive (nightmare) drafted like 26-27"

Read the spec again Jeremiah, "Draft to keel"...that dimension doesn't take drives into consideration.

A friend of mine has a 1979 sea ray with a nice open layout like that! A nice ski locker across the back of the boat with a fold up pad that looks like a little bench to sit on and put your feet on the swim deck!! Lots of open space!! All that was great but now he has to work on his and about all you can see is the top of the motor!!!! He doesn't like his layout so much anymore!! I love my 272 layout also bolsters sundeck and couch!!

Flint's Boat Service in Ft. Lauderdale was broken into and i lost two Bravo Transom Assembly's.

Billy called me this AM and told me. My 255 Formula was in the yard with the Transom assemblies installed. He went this AM to pull mine into the shop to set the engines and drives and discovered that the lock on the gate had been cut and my Transom Assemblies were gone!!! Called Ft. Lauderdale PD...spoke with Jason at Brand X , Tommy at Chief and the guys at Cobra.

Be on the lookout for a pair of 08 Bravo Transom Assemblies Complete with Rams, Hoses, Cables, etc.....very fresh...less than 50 fresh water hours. This is a real kick in the gut for me and really sets me back.

My wife has Multiple Sclerosis and using this boat is one of the things we have been looking forward to since I started this project...It broke my heart to tell her that we have yet another set back to overcome after getting so close to getting in the water again.

Somebody in South Florida that reads this knows something...please share what you know...you will be isolated from being accused...I just want my $hit back!!!
They didn't get the inner plates or the pumps...must have been in a hurry...things like my Smith Mod 29 .44 Magnum come into my mind very quickly if i could get a shot off!!!

If anyone even gets a sniff of these things call John at 561-707-5150

Sorry to hear about this set back you have been working hard to get the old bird back on the water. Nothing worse than a couple of $hitbags stealing stuff, I hope they get there day.

I appreciate your thoughts...and I went to a lot of trouble to get a real good set of transom assembly's...I doubt seriously I'll ever see them again. The shop owner is responsible so let's see how this turns out.
