Anybody out there running Mercury labbed props? Is there a difference in buying one from one of the marine parts dealers or from Mercury Marine? I am looking at a Mercury labbed 26p Bravo prop but I'm a little confused as to how they can put out a "standard" labbed prop that will work with different boats. If anybody has run these props what kind of rpm and performance gains did you see and was it worth the price? I am running a 99 271 with a 502 mpi. Thanks for any input.

I have a set of labbed 26 BRAVOS that will be for sale as soon as I get off my butt and send out the 28's that I bought. I bought them stock and then had them labbed by MERC. I got 300 rpm and 3 mph. The best way is to buy the stock props and see how they run and then have them labbed to fit what you need. But it is easier to buy them already labbed and just slap them on.
