New to me ‘82 Formula 302
Hey everyone!
New here and wanted to introduce myself. This forum has helped me out a ton so far by what I can find just by using the search function. Now that I have my own classic Formula I’m excited to contribute to this great place.
I picked up my 302 with Mercruiser 425 454’s and TRS drives a few weeks ago and I’m in love with it. It has a lot of great parts and the more I dig deeper into it, I’m learning that the previous owner put a lot of care into piecing this boat together. I plan on doing the same. It needs some minor refreshing this winter and I’m looking forward to getting out and running this thing all summer long.
My first upgrade will be converting the boat to full hydraulic steering. Was able to purchase a Latham setup locally, but I need wing plates or caps to complete the swap. Let me know if anyone has a solution for TRS.
The boat is also missing the starboard cockpit glass. If anyone has any leads on a replacement please send them my way. Thank you in advance.

That is in incredibly great shape...nice find! Good looking boat, one has to love the classic lines and the way it sits in the water.
Those are HP425s? I don't know that I have ever seen one before...that had to be the pinnacle of n/a 454 cubic inch engines, and carbureted to boot!

That boat looks amazing.
As for the glass, just look into having a local glass shop make a replacement for you. They should be able to make a template from the port side.
