It was truly a shame that pink was an in color in the 80's. On the hull you could almost live with it but it was too much to put it into the cockpit. I have seen people redo the vinayl to get rid of it.
If you look at the pic of my cockpit I am thinking about removing the teal, black and gray stripes from the gunwale, make them white. I have also thought about changing the teal vinayl around the galley to match the gray carpet. I think this would clean up the look a little.

I redid my side panels, bench and sunpad last year and ditched the black and pink. The black got too hot and the pink kind of made it look dated. The bolsters were in good shape, so they are original.
