Thanks guys. Mine is actually pretty loud already with HP500's, but one of the bolts is missing so the platform kind of rattles a bit. Good excuse to remove it I think...

Bikinilover,
I bought a 292 (2002) in April. Including the rebate ($6,000) I paid $85,000.00 and change. Myco trailer made specifically for this model boat was around $9,500.00. You do not need a triple axle trailer even if not a Myco. Just get trailer for correct weight of boat, fuel, etc. No problem. I would think they still have the rebates on?

Yes rebates are still on but I am going to check out a few other boats for now. You got a heck of a deal. What motors and what speeds are you getting? What options does it have? Does the boat get on plane good?

My 292 has 6.2's. It runs 70 - 71 GPS. Options are transom shower, bow docking lights, and a Y macerator valve. Time to plane is probably 6 - 7 seconds with a full load of fuel. Problem is the boat could use a 25 pitch prop for the hole shot and a 29 pitch for top end?! Heavy boat for a 28 to get on plane. However, all said, I absolutely love the boat and would buy it again!
