Belive my impeller is going down, water temp rising, oil pressure dropping at idle. I guess what I am looking for is how difficult is the change with motor in the boat and is there anything special I should look for? 502 single in 242 Formula? I was wondering anybody has any special suggestions. I hate learning from my mistakes

If your oil pressure is going below 10psi at idle you have other problems than a watepump impeller.
The impeller is easy to change, when you do it order the one piece plastic kit, makes changing them alot easier.

Yes, by all means order the kit not just the impeller. Pretty easy change with proper (normal) tools and some patience.

What would I be looking at? NEw power about 40 hrs on it. Motor runs flawlesly I figured due to the excaess heat that was the reason I dint stress but Im sure the motor builder will stand behind it
