hey Mikey ..... yea I think there is more there .....getting close to a refresh and tryin to decide what to do ...would like to go to 540's and different injection system ....its so turn key right now though .....I hate to frick with it ....I've slowed down some...but when you can see tripple digits just ahead it sure is tempting ....m

if i remember correctly your boat has m3's?? the old owner had smaller pulleys on it from what i was told before he blew a head gasket,then they oringed it and changed the pulleys on the blower end to a bigger one for less boost then REFLASHED the pcm's.. the down side,eats allot more fuel

Pretty accurate ... I'm not sure when the PCM's were changed ....but I have the paperwork on everything ..John was maticulas with keeping records ....I talked to Marc at precision marine ..he did the PCM's ... and because they were done pre ethonal he said I could actually loose some power if they redo them ....what I dont like is the limiters are set at 5100 ...and merc cuts the fuel to limit rpms ...could be a potential lean condition ...m

Love both the 271 and the 311, Formula lines always have that classic look.
