Thanks, its an 85 FXRS, very first rear belt model, they were originally called a lo-glide, wheras the lo-rider was chain drive in 85. I did it all myself cept for the paint, it was a diff color until some crazy chic in Myrtle hit me in a parking lot during bike week, So i came back got some JJ fenders and reinvented it.. Its got 30K miles on it and can still pull the front wheel up in second and 3rd Ive topped it out at over 120 coudnt see any more. Now its just for puttin.

Nice ride Cuda, your smart to take your time and get used to it, I've had mine since new in 85 and I know every sound with it. with bikes its very easy to get caught up in the trance of puttin. Just make sure you look out for the other guy and like boating, the easiest way to control your surroundings is to back off a bit. Once your used to it, again like boating you'll know when to power out of a situation...bikes babes and boating...nuff said! Rob
Check one thing though, I cant see what your rear tire is, your front is a Metzler ME33, make sure the rear is of a similar style, other wise with rain and antifreeze it can get slicker than snot. make sure they are matched. Metzler is a great tire, the match for your front is a ME99A. From the pics the rear looks like an Avon viper.

WOWEEEEEEE!! Toolman, I damm sure wish I would have seen this before I just bought my '95 252BR a couple months back. I would have been all_over_this_one. I looked at a nice 303 down here, but it was a little pricey, and no trailer. However, I then found a 252 with 52 original hours, B3, fresh water only, under cover stored, alum. trailer, with not even as much as dust on it. In other words, it's ridicuosly clean, same colors as yours, just about. My '95 has less than 70 original hours on it now.

Oh, well that's just my luck. Always a day late and a dollar short.
But, hey tell some friends that mine's for sale.
Thanks.
