Don, you're right, I probably won't be able to use these props. If you're interested I'll cut you a deal. They are as "brand new" condition. I always take them off the drives after going out, polish them, and put them away in a sealed bag until the next time out. I figure I'll probably be spinning 30's at least. Right now I'm getting around 4900/5000, sometimes 5150 on the top, depending on weight in the boat.

Russ,
What I meant with high torqe was a motor built to max out at approx 5500 rpm or a little less with a real strong and flat torqe curve instead of a high rpm motor with a torqe curve that peaks too high for you to use. I am running 454's with merlin oval ports and hyd roller cams with 527 ft lbs of tourqe and 530 hp. The boat has excellent throttle response, good fuel economy, strong idle and very reliable. If you want more power than what I have you might want to strart with a larger displacement. I guess what I am trying to say is that this boat had 330's and the first 200 hp increase picked up 15 mph another 100 hp would pick up approx another 6 mph and I dont know if it is worth the money.

Jeff, you make a really strong point and what you have is what I'm looking for. I don't want to be the fastest, just faster and but importantly reliable. And I want useable power, not something I have to be at 5 grand to make power. Thanks again for all the imput. Russ

dgduck13, I personally like the new graphic paint sceme you picked, but please loose the Miami Vise pink and Teal colors as they really date the boat...basically as bad taste!!! Stick with primary colors, red, yellow, blue, black. You don't see any teal or pink sports cars do you?
That will do more to update the boat than anything else.

I don't particularly care for the magenta either, I like a teal, black, and yellow scheme. Saw one on a Cig and it looked great. Just my two cents...

I am also not a fan of the colors that are on the boat, but you have to make due with what you have. The bolsters and seats would be costly to recover and WES311 took such good care of the boat before I bought it that it is not worth doing, the seats are perfect. This is why I am painting the boat the way that I am, mostly black with teal and very little pink. It will look a lot less dated that it does now.

Formula Outlaw-
I am interested in your props. I still have to call Hydromotive to make sure that they would work, but doing some quick calculations I think that they are right in the ballpark. Send me an email and let me know what you are looking to get for the pair. Thanks

Don
