On another note I am in the process of redoing the sundeck of the boat so it is all white. I am going to make it out of one piece instead on the individual sections. I am hoping that this will give the boat more of an updated look. I was wondering if it is possible to exactly match the white vinyl used in the boat? I have talked to a few shops around here that can come close but it is not a perfect match. Any help would be great.

Just keep looking. You can call up Formula and they may be able to tell you who they used.

This is true!! I have seen one-piece sun pad vinyl and it looks like chit while underway. Not too many manufacturers do this for that reason. There is no way to make it tight enough.

I agree. I rode in a boat once with just one piece on the sun pad, and it actually made noise it was shaking so bad.

If this is true who does Formula get away with it? They are one piece after the head-rests?

IF you glued the fabric to the foam, it might not bellow. But you would need to also glue the foam to the hatch. Personally, I'd worry that one piece of white would look generic, not classy like other Formula white interiers.

The back sun deck is not going to be one piece white. It is going to be like the new formulas are with the one piece of vinyl that is multi colored with a design. I just want to get way from the multi section sundeck.

If done right you will also lose some pounds... because for each color section there is a lenght of plywood, foam, thin/foam plastic then the fabric. Don I replaced the wood under the aft white section fall of 2002.

Hi Wes-

Thanks for the Info! I would have found that out this weekend when I was working on the boat. Did you just replace the wood or did you replace the foam too? Just curious?
