Help with 2002 292 Value
2002 Formula 292 with 377 Scoprions, approx. 175 hrs, on an aluminum trailer. Northern FL boat with fresh and salt water use. Clean, full canvas.
Anybody have access to ABOS or BUC values?
Thanks!

They have a free consumer account that you can register for. I'm waiting for my password to be reset, otherwise I'd just look it up for you.

Thanks Bill272
Says $83,400 to $91,700 with 350 mags.
Any opinions out there? Has 377 scorpions - but kinda high hours and salt water use.

At least for my area (Northeast) Buc seems to be a tad high with the $ ratings, but at least it is in the ballbark.
The best thing I could recommend is to look around online at all the other 292's to see what they are selling for. Then reduce that # by the typical 15-20% !

Scorp's were a heavy up-charge. I don't think you're going to find many for sale with that engine combo for price comparison. i wouls be curious as to how that boat runs with that power package. ...could be a nice ride.

Boattraderonline shows 10 2002 292's, none with scorpians. They seem to average around 90-95K. the scorpian package now retails for 30K more than the 350 mags and 25K more than the 6.2's. Figure 20% premium for the engine package if you're selling and offer less if you're buying. When we were looking, salty boats scared us away, but we were looking for older boars. 2 years of part-time salt-water use wouldn't bother me too much.

Re: Help with 2002 292 Value
2004 Spring/Summer ABOS shows the origonal MSRP at $145,710.00 for a 2002 292 with 350hp.
low wholesale is $88,883.00, high wholesale is $94,712.00, and retail is $113,654.00
But up here in the midwest you couldn't give away a boat that's been in salt water, granted it's only 2 years old. I'd say around here people would give $91-$92K boat only. Attatched are photos of a 97' 330 SunSport in our service dept. that had been in salt water it's whole live. Got a new 04' I'd sell you though.
