Stern Light ?

Looking for a bulb for my Stern Lamp .... I called Formula and they said they did not install them ...It is flush with the Deck and when you turn it on it raises up about 6' ..It sez "power Light" on the lens but I cant find any info on it ....

That's different than what I've got. My stern light is on a pole and the whole pole comes out of a "socket".

Is it one of those LED lights? In either case one way is take the bulb to autp parts store--they'll have bulb manufacturer cross-ref with diagrams of the bulb end.

The OEM light mounts on the windshield frame. That's so you get a wicked glare in your eyes, it reflects off the deck and you can't put your top up with the light in place.
One of Formula's more idiotic designs. I remounted mine at the back like your aftermarket light is.
Agree with above, auto parts places will have bulbs to fit.

Formula puts the light there because of Coast Guard Regs. I moved mine to the back and have been told by the coast guard that it is not technically correct but they understand why I did it and are ok with it.....

Well ... not the whole story ....
I was removing the bulb ......and ...well ..... ok damnit ..I dropped it ...in the water ...and it sank ..... so all I have is a lite with no bulb....went to west marine and they had no clue .... the socket for the bulb is rectangular .. about 3/4x1/4 ...will keep looking ....
