My closest contact says.......expect to see a few models that are large and very light in weight............like the 39' GTX Outerlimits that weighs in at 8,000 lbs and goes over a hundred with a pair of Illmors....

...I was wondering if there is an autoclave and carbon on the premises is all...

I think now that the bottom design envelope has been pushed to the limits "WEIGHT" is next....it has to be light and as strong as concrete...that is what Fiore is doing ....the 39'GTX @ 8,000 lbs is solid and quick (110 mph)....ya ya and $650k with Illmors

Cougar Cat out of England has a 50'er that weighs only 10,000 lbs (hull only). It's a special carbon lay-up. That boat with T-1075's goes 160 MPH. Yes 160 mph from a 50' boat with twin canopies...and only 1075's pushing it....

I think carbon and composites will replace glass next...once enough is used the price will come down.

...Hey Reggie..chime in...let the Master Beak... Speak!
