Default Lake Cumberland Poker Run

Wife and I just got back from the Lake Cumberland PR and we had a really great time. Met some really nice people and saw a lot of great boats! We took our 29ft and it was really tuff to be out there with them big boy's, well the better half just did a great job out there keeping me informed of the upcoming traffic from behind. I can see why a lot of people want bigger boats after doing one of these major PR's. Well I did hear that they had a boat barrel roll out there Saturday but no really sure if they were part of the PR group. Heard it was a 30' Eliminator making a hard RH turn (heading towards 76 Fall's) and just lost it. No one was killed or severally hurt as I know.

NEED A 38!!!!

It'll Do

I was told all were OK by their friends that were runing with them. We got there just a few minutes after the accident, so didn't know who were on the boat. The owner was on the nose with only 5' of it sticking in the air when we got there. The boat was gone when we left the Falls later. Don't know if they towed it to Grider Hill or if it went under. very sad situation. With all the boats in that narrow hairpin turn, it gets very rough. Easy to see how it can happen.

I was on a 42 and can appreciate the 10 extra feet over my 32'.

First poker run ever, and it was a blast. We boat on calm Dale Hollow and to run in those conditions was truely an adrenaline rush and exhilarating high... We are hooked on PR's

Daum our Fountains fly straight and true!
