I will be boating on Long Island's South Shore. The boat for $145,000 has twin 496 HO's.

Thanks,
Ken

Unhappy Re: Tutorial on 35 Executioner

Hey guys, I am freaked out right now. I keep my '04 Corvette at the family house on Long Island and last Friday, October 14th, after all the rains, the bay overflowed a bit and flooded the garage where the Vette was. 2-3 inches of water in the footwells where a lot of the key electronics are. The adjuster came to the house and did not total the car. The car is at the dealership where it will go through a full diagnostic check on Monday with the adjuster and I there. Then we will see what it will take to fully repair the car, or total it. The car had about 3800 miles on it and was perfect. Once I get through getting the car back on the road, or getting another one, I will revisit the 35 X.

Thanks,
Ken

Was It a top end run, or a hole shot run??
I gotta believe a 35 with 496 ho's has a better top
end than a 29 with 454's. My brother had one and
that boat barely broke 70 on a speedo!! probably less
gps. I had a 32 with 502 mags and ran 72-73 speedo.
My 35 runs 79 GPS. I don't think a 29 with 454's
will run 79 GPS. But hey, what do I know?? I can only
talk from past experience.By the way, mine has 496's.
Ask anyone who owns one, they all run 78-79 GPS.
GPS doesnt lie. Speedos DO!!!!!!

My brother just purchased a 35 X a few months ago. 496's with an aluminum trailer, paid 138K. Just thought that might help in your negotiations. Good Luck.
