Question Lift for a 38

Would a 10,000 lb HydroHoist lift work for a 2001 or newer 38 Light?

My 10,000 lb hydrohoist lifted my 35 up with no problem, and continues to lift my 2000 38 fever up with no problem. My friend in the slip behind me had a 1989 38 fever with big power and big drives and his 10,000 hydro hoist raised it up with no problem.

Bob, whoever told you that you needed a 12,000 lb hoist for a 35 was less than informed.

It was the Hydo Hoist dealer!!! but wait there is a happy ending I ended up finding a custiom built 17,000 lb used Hydo Hoist and got a GREAT price and now I will NEVER have to buy another lift again......BZ

P.S. this story had a happy ending, but the 35 does look small on the lift

I had the front cables break on my 38 years ago. Lucky it was close to the water when it happened. Be careful putting it on a 10,000 lbs lift.
