Mike, when I ran your 47, I had the drives at 1.5-2, to keep the engines off the rev-limiters, and the tabs almost all the way up. You don't need any tab when it's 1-2's out there since you have plenty of weight in the nose.

When you reprop it and you can trim the drives out to 4-5, then you might want to run just a little tab to keep it from leaving the water.

Right now Re-Wired is running on the limiters with 30P Herring six blades. My buddy has an order in for 31's with a little more cup. Boat typically runs best about 3 on the drives and 0-2 on the tabs-mostly to level from side-to side. Seems to have lost a mile or two perhour, but that might be due to slight flattening/nicking of the props. I'll let you now after the new props get here. Oh BTW-make sure the exhaust dump for the generator is open at all times when running. Backed up water in the genset this weekend-bad juju.

When will the new props get there? Let me know what she runs. The exhaust dump open at all time? I did not closed anything on the generator after I ran it so I guess I am okay?
