Two 35s to choose from in 2000- the new twin step hull took the lightning name while renaming the old lightning a classic deck. This took place until 2003 when Fountain renamed the classic to the executioner. The Lightning is a twin step hull with a full windshield(glass not plexi) and a raised deck. Hope this helps.

Thanks for listing that chart, it looks like my boat is a Lightning Classic, if I am reading the chart correctly. It has a single step hull, Venturi windshield, and external intake grilles. Not the NACA intakes.
NACA intakes are a NASA design that packs in a maximum amount of air with a minimum amount of drag. Commonly used on air planes, and race cars and race boats.
