Looks like Carlson to me - Seats look familiar . I think Reggie went to take a leak when drawing board started.

in the front 3/4 view you can see the air inlets on the sides........as far as cruisers go I always thought that boat was pretty cool,pretty swoopy,pretty Euro.......something a little different than the naeuseating all the same sport cruisers out there......the Sea Rays, Montereys, Four winns, Larsons......it goes on and on

Patriot Marine Industries -- under the guidance of division president Raymond Wedel and famed boat designer Art Carlson -- has begun production of the first of its comprehensive line of newly designed recreational watercraft that will range in size from 22 to 41 feet in a wide variety of popular cruising, fishing and performance configurations.
"Our new, patented VCX hydrodynamic hull technology is extremely exciting," notes Art Carlson, Director of Boat Design for Patriot Marine Industries. "It has been in development for over a decade...and together with our new aerodynamic deck designs, we are introducing powerboat concepts, both above and below the waterline, destined to impact the industry."

I saw that boat when I visiting the factory for a plant tour back in 1997. It was sitting by the launch ramp on some tri pods. I was told that somebody designed it and dropped it off at Fountain to let Reggie test the hull design. From what I was told it was not a favorable design per Reggie Fountain. I am pretty sure it was NOT built by Fountain Powerboats.
