Ditto. I keep a small heat lamp in the bilge with an extension cord hanging out from under the cover. If its going to get cold I plug it in. As soon as hunting season is over I'm back on the water on warm days.

To bad my fellow Fountain pilots. Down here in the Galveston
area we boat all year round. Actaully fall and winter can be
some of the more comfortable days on the water. But man o man u will fry your butt off in those cockpits in the summer

I have almost the same enclosure on my 47 sc which came from Fountain. I have used it in the rain but not in the cold. Does it keep it warm in there without a cockpit heater? Do you tow with it on? I am in the Chicago area so it really gets cold.
