Get a battery jump pack and a wire with male conectors on both ends. Take the batterys out and put a bolt between the 2 black wires on the port side battery cables(completes the circuit) plug the jump pack into the 12 volt recepticle on your dash and you can raise or lower to your hearts content - piece of cake, forget the jumpers - they are a pain in the ass - this is just too easy
