They had tabs on the boat but they had electrical issues with the pumps. When ever Bobby would adjust the tabs the engines would cut power. So he set set it one last time and had to leave it for fear of loosing the engines. It was the mechanical gremlins refered to in the video. I think what TexomaPowerboater ment was he didn't have use of his tabs. ![Smilie](/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Everyones defination of ROUGH WATER is totally different.Untill you have experienced NJ water its hard to describe.Being able to run over 100 mph is nice to say but in the Atlantic off NJ in all reality 9 out of 10 days the water is just so ROUGH you cant go that fast

I've never had my boat in the ocean, only on Lake Michigan but all my relatives who have boats are in NJ. There is no comparison. I think my boat would do fine but it only hits low 70's on GPS and has a lot higher freeboard than any of the other performance boats discussed.
