isn't it a 38LX? I love that boat too and would also like to hear from current owners. It seems like a perfect all around boat.

Someone posted earlier they ride very nose heavy and are about 10 MPH slower than the CC/ TE's. FeverMike will chime in, I think he has been out on them.

I like the usability but the boat isn't real good looking.

Do not know about a LE model but there is a TE and a LX. I have a TE and it is a great riding boat in the rough stuff. The LX is nose heavy and around 10mph slower than the TE version due to all the extra stuff on the LX.

My TE has a stand up head/sink/shower and a huge V-Berth to sleep in. The 38TE with triple Verado on stock props will cruise at 4000rpms 48mph burning 30gph @ 1.4mpg. WOT is anywhere from 70-73mph depending on conditions.

I had mine up for sale but took it down but my wife and I are seriously considering downsizing our boat and I am thinking I will put it back up for sale in time for the Miami show. I am just having a tough time finding a boat in the 30-33' range that gets better fuel mileage at cruise than my 38TE! On a calm day on the bay I can cruise at 40mph and get 1.5mpg.

I kinda like the 38 SC outboard model. the driver has no one in frount of them to block their vision.
