how much did you bid? A friend bid $44k and I told him I didn't think there was any chance they would let it go for that.

hmm, without seeing it in person I would have thought 62K would have bought it at an auction.

With the way this economy is still shedding jobs there should be more on the way.

If it was as sweet in person as it looked in the pics it was well worth it, but it's hard to bid up on something like that without first seeing it in person.

Default We got it!!!!!!!!!!!

My brother in law actually.Mechanic probably looked at it today for him to finalize the deal. That boat looked like it went across the lake once and was put in heated storage for 10 yrs. Only mark on it we could find was a 1' scuff on the rub rail. Interior was mint also. I hope it went well with mechanic today. He missed the 32 fountain a month ago then this one came in and we bid it to get and keep it. Usually just buy and sell out of there. The 32 went for 70k and thats pretty much what this one went for plus had to buy trailer seperate.Should have it in the water by the weekend,I'll let everybody know how she runs. I 'm out.

Congrats on getting the boat. FYI the 99 HP 500's had weak valve springs. Back in the day they were suspect from 100 hours on but I'm sure age plays a factor too. I'd change them out before putting any hours on those engines. Many people who didn't change them out wound up wishing they had.
