Default What can I expect??? 2000 Fountain 38' Lightning with 500EFIs

Just bought a 38' Fountain Lightning with 500efis and Bravos. What can I expect this boat to run? Looks like it has some Hydromotives on it, do not think they're Bravo's. I hear a whole crew that says the boat won't break 80MPH, another that thinks it'll be well into the mid 80's? Any ideas?

One on our lake runs 80 to 82, that year boat with 500 efi's.
Know it has Hydros, not sure what prop.

JZ congrats on the new boat, where's the pics? Are you going to do the Jammin on the James run with us this year or what? Get Kyle off his tail and get him to sign up to. Ya'll don't what to miss it, its great.

Brian... I definitely am planning on it. I talked to one of the guys in the club, can't remember his name but he has a Black Thunder I think, about it last year at Lake Anna. I saw Brad out on the river this weekend, Kyle took his boat out for a while and I rode with him. Hope to have mine in the water in a weekend or two. You get your stuff de-winterized yet?

Take care of that 38 it may very well be my next boat! Good talking with you this weekend, hope all goes well when you pick it up. look forward to doing some boating with you all, even though I'll be the slow poke. we need to get BC fired up and on the water. Keep us posted on the new ride
