Default Best prop for my 35 Fountain, new HP #'s this year!, kinda of a newbie plse

My boats motors were overhauled this year and XR's were installed as well , my old setup was slightly modded 500HP's Mercs , i was using factory 28P 4 blades on Bravo 1's they were labbed as well. Now this year my new setup is same engine but now running 701HP with XR's 1.50 gear ratio. Any ideas what prop i should be running. I have a line on a Hydromotive 32 P5. Thanks guys your help is appreciated!

Nice power upgrade! You may be in need of 36p B1's, or
35p 5 blades...since your x dimension is still standard, 5 blades may slow you down. Call BBlades, rent some demos from his suggestions and go from there.

I'm running the same hp, but with Imco -2 shorties. I found the 5 blades were more efficient and accelerated much better in the mid range. They even put a little more on top. I tried the Bravo 4 blade and the PX5s. I found the 34 Bravos were about right and the 32 5 blades worked. Of course, it depends on the RPMs you want to run.

well as of right now, we are going to be starting the boat for the first time today hopefully so... wish me luck its been a long road getting this thing together! I got ahold of a set of 5 blade Herrings 32P , but was told i might not have the power to turn em! my motors made peak HP at 5600-5700 RPMS so who knows , doesnt hurt to try!
