Mounted mine in the recess above the transom. Made some aluminium plates 16"x 10" and mounted box, coil and rev box on it then gave it a slight bend. Broke the edges of the plate for strenght. Do not have any pic's, but might be able to get some (if the the rain stops) tonite. Pete

Mounted mine on the ledge that's about even with the rub rail across the transom. A few pics.

I know this thread is a month old, but ran into this issue last weekend. Didnt have enough room above the inner transom plates, so i fabbed up a plate. Bolted the box and rev limiter to it, then fastened it to the transom...

Mine are mounted on an angle bracket attached to the bulkhead. Needs about 6 feet or so of wiring to reach the distributor and other stuff at the back of the engines.
